================================================================ Title : Ash Filename : ash.WAD Author : The Crow Gokuma Email : [email protected] (case sensitive) [email protected] Sites : http://www.fortunecity.com/underworld/mario/604 http://pit.condemned.com Description : If you don't know who Ash is, get the hell out of here and don't come back until you know who he is! Additional Credits to : Rogue (creators of Strife) Id software (duh) Fab, Boris, and Carl (creators of Doom Legacy) Creators of AOD TC (for inspiration) ================================================================ * Construction * The Crow did most of the work. I made one point of a view of a frame and wasn't having much luck. We were going to each do half, but I was tied up at the time and the next day the Crow tells me he did almost every frame. I wouldn't have done as good a job anyway. I made the death frames though and spent a very long time changing some colors. A lot of stuff got discolored when cut and pasting. I couldn't use colremap very much because some of the colors on his chainsaw and stuff were on his face and he would end up with a weird colored face. I had to resort to changing the colors by hand on 8X magnification. I also switched the position of the shotgun in a couple of the walking forward frames cause it looked really choppy before. After a lot of work by me and the Crow this skin really kicks ass. Base : Modified gfx of a peasant from Strife that resembles Ash and sounds from various sources Editor(s) used : Wintex, NWT, dmgraph, dmaud, colremap, windows paint, Spry ImageView, and whatever the Crow used. Known Bugs : Little Ashes and Bad Ash who need their asses kicked. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors might or might NOT use this wad as a base to build additional wads. I'm not sure.
