THE STORY SO FAR Back on earth after the "Holiday on Phobos" all seemed to be well, until the Hell spawn you encountered on Mars re-appeared on Earth. Until now the true story of how that happened has never been told. In fact prior to your fatal visit to the Hanger, the unscrupulous government of the day had sent a secret mission to bring back some of the monsters to be evaluated for military purposes on Earth. (Heard this story before?). The small sample of evil was taken to what was thought to be a top security research lab that had the disguise as a Veterinary clinic. For this reason the strange howlings and crying at night did not raise anyones suspicions. But unfortunately the beings from Hell were not to be contained and they broke out and entered a disused subteranian mine system. Here they have been breeding and planning their atack on Mother Earth. To prevent any possible counter attack they have placed there stongest as a guard to the Lab. Your mission is to be sent back in time to prevent DOOM ][ ever happening. Old plans of the Research Lab indicate that the storm water drain can be used enter the car park and avoid the deadly guard. The time machine will hopefully deposit you in this drain. Once in the complex you must find the switch that will shutdown the complex and seal the monsters under the Earth forever. Should you manage to do this to return to our time you must return to the storm drain and work your way to the time retrieval point. Unfortunately the only place we can rcover you from with any chance of succes is the old obelisk that still stands today. This means we can work out the correct co-ordinates. The bad news is that the Hell Guard is posted right under it. Anyway, what the hell, you wont make it that far anyway..... Addendum If you enjoy or have any comments etc its always nice to hear about it Thanks drdick
