'elv II' final version  6/10/07
by Cybershark ([email protected])

designed for duels - quite feasable for 4way.

this started with no real theme, i kinda wanted to make something Aardappel-ish and as usual failed. even though it was named as a probable successor to elv i got stuck on texturing and initially kitted it out in a Rage-ish style (despite it looking nothing like a Rage map). eventually it got the elv texturing treatment and ended up looking more like Judas with a bit stuck on XD
it has a lot more freedom than elv but as is usual with my maps then is equally restrictive in a lot of places.

revisions: tweaked gun placement and fixed some texture alignments, also altered the triggering lines on the lifts. new dropdown area with RL added.

music: NIN - The Perfect Drug (remix)
intermission music: John Carpenter, Buckethead and Anthrax - Kick Ass (excerpt)

settings?
DM3 - guns stay, items respawn (as usual)
screw target names (did i mention that before, don't think so but take it for granted on ALL my maps EVER)
originally as this was a sequel to elv and kinda Judas-ish then i was gonna say that freelook and jumping would be bad (m'kay?) but after having played it some more then i'm going to strongly revise that opinion and say that this should be run with predominantly NS SETTINGS.

so my suggestions would be:
DMFLAGS=2380900 DMFLAGS2=20992

credit:
Phenex and Marax for playtests
some Doom Alpha graphics
Williams Entertainment for PSX Doom and to Samuel Villarreal whose conversion of a PSX Doom map i found the extra textures in (psxthreshold.wad)

oh and you're a moron if you run or host it with more than 4 players :D
