Description : After beating back earth's invasion by hell spawn, you are
rewarded with some R and R. A few days rafting down the Grand Canyon seems like
just the thing to let off some steam. After short chopper flight you step out on the
canyon floor. You turn back to thank your pilot, but his blank stare and greenish
complexion clues you in that something isn't right here... OH NO, NOT AGAIN!!!

The chopper leaves you atop a spire rising from the floor of a deep, slime-filled
canyon. Narrow walkways lead off in several directions. All around, there are
enemies waiting for you to make a move...

This WAD emphasizes combat and manueverability over puzzle solving, though there
are a few tricks and traps. On the higher skill levels, this WAD requires a faster
computer because of the large number of enemies.

This WAD is entirely Mac made, no PC editors were used in its construction.
I used a Quadra 630 and PowerBook Duo 2300c. The WAD has been tested on the PC
and it works fine. I developed this level using Paul Davidsons excellent editor
Hellmaker (now at version 1.1). Nodes were built with Thomas Harts port
MacBSP 1.0. I used James Knights port of ZenNode 1.0b1 to build to the reject map.

Additional Credits to : Thank you to Keith Gruman (Rondeau of the SRM
Clan), Hung Doan, Rich Dyck, and Dean Tinnes for testing on the PC. Thanks also to Id
and Lion (without their efforts we Mac users might actually have to use a PC to
play DOOM <grin>). For reading this far, you get a bonus. It is possible
to reach the exit using only the red key, oh, and look for those little blue bottles...

Known Bugs : There are no serious bugs. There is one area with
a couple of miss-aligned textures. I tried hard to fix it, but I suspect
ZenNode did something to the WAD that I couldnt undo without major back
tracking. There were a couple of places that consistently produced
"R_FindPlane: no more visplanes" errors, but I fixed them. If you get this
error, send me the coordinates, and I'll fix it. I did encounter one very
strange bug (fixed) which affected the PC, but not the Mac! Id be
interested to hear if anyone has encountered this kind of bug. Floor and
ceiling textures *only* show up as psychedelic purple and black and yellow
instead of the usual green and brown (medusa??). The game crashes after a
few seconds. As I said, this bug affected the PC only.
