'elv3 - elv3lution' special edition 06/07/10 by Cybershark ([email protected]) Because the elv series has been strong enough to beg to be continued. Originally this map was a bit vaster and I loved the layout but it was too much to sensibly duel on so a whole section has been removed. The subsequent connecting of corridors felt a bit hackish to me at first but during my first game I knew it worked (even if Marax did kick my ass). The fullsize version will probably materialise in an FFA pack sometime ;> This version digitally remastered from the original master tapes for use in the Zdaemon July European NS tournament. Blue armor becomes green, green armors are now ammo boxes, and box of shells is now rockets instead. Map music: NIN - That's What I Get / Crusader: No Regret - D3 Intermission music: Frank Klepacki - Blade Runner Ending Game settings: DM3 - guns stay, all other items respawn. NS - freelook, jumping, crosshair. Skill 3 (Ultraviolence) would be preferable. I'd suggest DMFLAGS=283748 DMFLAGS2=0 Thanks to: Everyone who enjoyed the prequels. Marax, Phenex and TheCupboard for playtesting and poo. Williams Entertainment for PSX Doom and to Samuel Villarreal whose conversion of a PSX Doom map I found the extra textures in (psxthreshold.wad). The Doom Alpha versions for a flat. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use this map as a base for modification or re-use. The textures are really not mine to withhold, do with them as you please. You MAY distribute this file, provided you include this text file, with no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact. Oh and you're a moron if you run or host it with more than 4 players :D
