The Military Testing Facility (4shawn.wad) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The story: The military facility that you are to clean out was a test sight for genetic engineering, robotics, teleportation, and nuclear experimentation. Unfortunately at the same moment that a delicate genetics experiment was in the works an underground nuclear bomb was set off below the facilities deep nuclear test pit. This shook the building which caused the Chief Surgeon to lose his balance and jab a hypodermic needle into his assistant who then went screaming out of the operating theatre in a wild frenzy of arms and legs. Just as security were about to neutralize the out of control scientist she went jerking and twitching into the Robotics Labs and accidently activated the main power supply to the experimental robot LR1000. Fortunately the robot could not escape due to the design of the facility however it did manage to annilate all within the lab. One stray rocket managed to find its way through the underground pipe network to kill a nuclear technician just as he was checking readings on the affore mentioned nuclear test. His mutilated body fell against the switch that opened the sink hole the tests were being done in. The radioactive breach mutated the remaining scientists within and left you with a job to do.
