=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : SkullTag version .97d - Beta 3 or higher. Primary purpose : Skulltag Duel =========================================================================== Title : Titanium Tide 1024 - Gold Editon! Filename : Mek-TTGE Release date : June 22, 2007 Author : Brett 'Mechadon' Harrell Email Address : [email protected] Other Files By Author : Sabbat Martyr, other various things. Misc. Author Info : lazy Additional Credits to : Goblin for hounding me to death. <3 Nick 'NiGHTMARE' Baker for the textures. Espi for the SiD sky. Sabbat Martyr Development Team Mr. Stewe for the music. General Description : A 1024x1024 duel map, sitting in a sea of liquid golden titanium! ...it doesn't have to make sense, dammit! The original map comes from Sabbat Martyr (SMDM31). At the time I was looking to do a quick map for the project sense I had already done a few maps. I always wanted to do a 1024 type map, but I wasn't really interested in starting a SP map (not did I have the time to do so), so I figured I'd see if I could pull off a 1024 DM map. I knew from the get-go it wouldn't hold more than 4 people, so really I guess you could call this a 'duel' map. The incentive to re-release the map as a standalone came after I heard that the map was semi-popular. And from Goblin hounding me about it...apparently he absolutely loves this map. Anyways, there was a new texture pack out with recolors of some of the textures I originally used in Titanium Tide, so I thought a new texture pallete as well as some gameplay tweaks would be enough to warrent a new standalone release. All-in-all some weapons have been moved around as well as some things thrown in and taken out. It uses some of Sabbat Martyr's resources (most noteably the Karasawa and the Nailgun), a new Bigfont, new music, and of course a new texture pallete. The map is very fast-paced and will not play very well with more than four players. Also, do not play Goblin on this map. You WILL get raped...and raped hard. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : Yes Sounds : Yes Music : Yes Graphics : Yes Dehacked/BEX Patch : Yes Demos : No Other : No Other files required : None * Play Information * Game : Doom 2 Map # : Map01 Single Player : No Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes Other game styles : Duel Recommended Difficulty Settings : Only implemented with bots. * Construction * Base : sbbtmrtr.wad (SMDM31, Titanium Tide 1024) Build Time : [Original] 3 weeks, [Gold Edition] 8 Hours Editor(s) used : Doom Builder, XWE, GIMP 2.2, MSPaint Known Bugs : None that I know of.
