                          ***** The MegaWad *****

This is the Official Deathmatch WAD of the MegaSphere BBS (the BEST Indiana
multi-player BBS). 30 of the best Deathmatch WADs out there. There's sure
to be something here you like. Some really fantastic levels, plus some
great new tunes and sfx. As no-one reads these files anyway, I won't bother
with a lengthy intro or descriptions of each level. I'll launch straight
into the creds and level list.

This WAD is too large to play completely in one sitting unless you use -timer
4 (this will give you a two-hour long match), or if you don't mind having
cramp, square eyes, and a phone bill from hell when you're done. Instead it
has been made so that by -WARPing to certain levels, you choose what to play.
The levels go like this:

    1 - 9 : Small fast levels
    10 - 14: Remakes of original levels
    15 - 19: Large, plain, open levels
    20 - 24: Levels from the D9 series
    25 - 30: Large, complex levels

This WAD is dedicated to all at the MegaSphere BBS, with special thanks to
Sysop Adam Pedersen, who came up with the thing in the first place, supplied
WADs and ideas, did the intermission picture, and twice asked me to completely
re-arrange most of the thirty levels. Luckily for him I don't hold grudges ;)

All the levels work great for all numbers of players, the first nine can be
particularly hectic with four players, and lotsa fun. Here, then, is the list
of WADs which went into this collection. Some of them I don't know the
original names, as they came in collections and I don't have the text files,
sorry. The text files we could find are in the file TEXTS.ZIP.

Additional Creds to : Raphael Quinet and Brendon Wyber (DEU), id Software
(DOOM), Bill Neisius (DMAUD), and especially all the
people who built the levels. You guys are fantastic.
Also thanks to my targets, er, playtesters Diver,
Grean'se Lightning, Salmon, and Touch Tone, who died
valiantly (many times), victims of progress.
Thanks to John Guthrie for sending us the cool levels
                        Wario, Gitsome, Mine2049, and Stokin.

WAD's that are completely new in this collection, and not previously released
outside MEGASPHERE are:

Level 3: Gruvin, a cool level with lotsa megaspheres and large guns. Despite
how that sounds to some people, it plays great, and is lots of fun.
Level 23: Wario, another cool one, several buildings in a large courtyard.
Level 25: Gitsome, a large small level. Figure that out if you can :)
Level 26: Mine2049, this one has cool workings. Lots of neat stuff, like
instant lifts, and a VERY hard to get BFG. As it should be.
Level 27: D2_KILL, my own level, but it's really good, even if I do say so
myself. It has some neat features, including plenty of hidden
teleporters and a jail. A note on the jail: If you get in there,
you get out if someone uses a lift. But the idea is not to get in
there! Some people have complained, so just thought I'd let you
know that it's punishment for being stoopid enough to get trapped :)
Level 28: Stokin, a cool, evil-looking new one.

Here then is the list of WADs included.
