New Graphics : Yes. Features new textures and flats. New Music : Yes. Demos Replaced : No. * Play Information * Level # : This is v1.1 effecting MAP01 thru MAP03. If you have v1.0 for some reason, get rid of it, it is unplayable. This PWAD should run on DOOM ][ versions 1.2 thru 1.9. Play notes: 486/66 or better is recommended, these levels are LARGE. To play, unzip this archive in your DOOM ][ directory. You should notice ABATTOIR.WAD and ABATTOIR.TXT in there afterwards. ABATTOIR.WAD should be around 1.4 megs unzipped. Now, enter: DOOM2 -FILE ABATTOIR.WAD Credits: Kurt Hindenburg, of ISU, without whom this download would have been a guarenteed waste of time. Might still be, but at least now it won't crash your DOOM engine or leave you stuck with no possible way thru. Also, the folks at ftp.cdrom.com who graciously permitted my to correct the oversights uncovered by Kurt.
