The Forgotten Island - original PWAD level for DOOM ][ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Title : The Forgotten Island - Island X Filename : ISLANDX.WAD Author : Brett S. Uglow Email Address : [email protected] Misc. Author Info : Aka B-man. My first "Official" WAD. Your Mission : Repel invaders from landing on YOUR island. There is a lot of freedom of movement in this wad, so plan your ambushes carefully. Additional Credits to : Al Clark for his debugging and hints :) Creators of Momento Mori for the exterior 'Gallery' texture. Other Stuff : This is a fairly big wad, so you need at least a 486 with 8MB RAM for multiplayer games. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Play Information * Level # : MAP01 Single Player : No (Unless you want to explore the place, find hidden stuff, etc.) Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : You betcha! Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : YES, some *very* sexy textures. New Music : No, I figure you can play your own favourite music WAD yourself. Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch. Editor used : DEEP 8.35 (Registered) -an excellent, simple editor. Known Bugs : The flaming torches might disappear, depending on where you stand.
