THE OUTPOST *********** REQUIREMENTS This WAD was developed under Heretic 1.3, but I think it runs with older versions too. INSTALLATION Simply exract the zip-archive in your Heretic-archive. DOS-Mode: Simply type "outpost" WINDOWS: Doubleclick the file outpost.bat FEATURES This is version 1.1 with one level and the secret level (E1M9 is not worth playing - it's really crap). I'm working on version 1.2 with more levels. Watch out! Single Player - Yes Multiplayer - Yes Deathmatch - Yes (not tested yet) Difficulties - Yes (Try Skill 4- if you dare!) New Musics - Yes (my tribute to Ennio Morricone) New Demos - Yes New Textures - Yes (mostly from Hexen and Rise of the Triad, but there are own textures too) New Monsters and Weapons - Yes (from Hexen) Editors Used - DCK 3.62, WinTex Other Software Used: Corel Photopaint 8.0, Midi2Mus.exe Building Time - four free days STORY D'Sparil was defeated and all his creatures died with their master. So you returned back home and thought it would be like before. But the second Serpent Rider Korax had built a castle to observe the reign of D'Sparil. This fortress was called "the Outpost". Korax has not left your planet after D'Sparil's fall. So you have to put on your armor and weapons once again in order to wipe out all fierce creatures, that have survived. But beware: Korax is much stronger and powerful than his brother and- he is angry... CREDITS This WAD was developed by Florian H. Tirk with a little help from his brother Paul.
