=========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : It's a weapon mod, mini monster mod, AND a resource : hack - all in one! So...uh...Combos dir, please Advanced engine needed : ZDoom 2.0.63a or later Update to: : The old ww-xm.zip. Primary purpose : No levels included =========================================================================== Title : Extreme Measures Filename : WW-XM.WAD Release date : 12/??/2004 Author : WildWeasel Email Address : [email protected] Other Files By Author : DOOMOS.WAD, WEASWEPS.WAD, WW-OSH.WAD Misc. Author Info : Weapon mod enthusiast and founder/admin of the : Doom Armory (www.box43.net/~wildweasel). I'm also : a team member of Nmn and Ellmo's "secret project". Description : Grab your Ion Thrusters, Swarmer Launchers, and : Plasma Pistols - it's time to give Hell a : counter-attack! Additional Credits to : See bottom of text file - it's too long =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : None Sounds : Yes! Music : No Graphics : Yes! Dehacked/BEX Patch : Yes!! Demos : No Other : Yes - Decaldef, Decorate, Sndinfo, Sndseq, Keyconf Other files required : None. * Play Information * Game : DOOM / DOOM2 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : Considerations were taken for co-op play. Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes - expect an intense match. Other game styles : Should work with Skulltag, not tested * Construction * Base : New from scratch - see bottom of file for data : sources Build Time : Four months, adding on the time spent on the : last version. Editor(s) used : Wintex 5, XWE 1.15, Cool Edit Pro 2.0/Adobe Audition 1.5, : MS Paint, Paint Shop Pro 8, Irfanview, DOSbox 0.63, : Gens 2.11, PakExplorer, and various others. Known Bugs : While I've fixed the IDFA crash in 2.0.63a, there are some : bugs. Tesla and Plasma Pistol marines will drop two : weapons at once, and Map07 won't work because of my : monster replacements. Just deal with it. May Not Run With... : ZDoom 2.0.63 or lower (monsters use A_CustomMissile : pointers and may crash the game), Skulltag (Decorate : monsters won't work in ST - I'll release a DM : only version later). A Special Notice : As of the ZDoom 2.0.9x series, Strife's ammo types : are seperate from Doom's. I designed this mod with the : old 2.0.63a behavior in mind (the Assault Gun will use : Doom's bullets instead of its own). If you play this : in 2.0.94 or later, it will be hard to find ammo : for the Assault Gun. I've implemented Strife's ClipOfBullets : item in the supply barrels, but this is only a minor : workaround. If you find that it's impossible to play : your favorite WAD because you're out of Assault ammo, : play it in 63a. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use the contents of this file as a base for modification or reuse.
