=========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : N/A Update to : N/A Advanced engine needed : Limit removing port(zdoom recommended) Primary purpose : Single+Coop play =========================================================================== Title : The Supply Base2 Filename : modsply2 Release date : 7-11-2004 Author : MasterOFDeath Email Address : [email protected] Other Files By Author : modsply.wad, moddmbse.wad, prtyrnr.wad, moddm1.wad Misc. Author Info : still kinda new to the mapping world, but getting alot better by the minuite :) Description : Many months after earth was invaded, humans are starting to win. By taking out their supply routes and many strategic loacations, the forces of hell are slowly getting less and less, and even starting to retreat. A few days ago, you lost contact with a very important civilian supply base that helps out the UAC in shipment of weaponry and medical equipment. You have been sent to investigate. This is the sequel to The Supply Base(modsply.wad), wich was my first singleplayer map, that was actually good exept for a major bug with the keys and the exit that i never did notice. Like I said, im still a little new to mapping, so I don't expect this one to be perfect also. I tested the hell out of it, and it has no bugs, exept for some listed below that only occur in Legacy and possibly other opengl ports. Additional Credits to : Alot of people! ID software, the utility authors, hobomaster22 for some beta testing and help. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 2 Sounds : No Music : Yes, some music from doom1, converted to midi. Graphics : Yes, some new textures(mostly for map02), handmade by me, exept for one that is just a modified doom2 wood texture. Im kinda new to graphics editing, so I don't expect you to like them. :D Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : Yes, it has a MAPINFO lump for those of us who are smart and use ZDoom :D Other files required : N/A * Play Information * Game : DOOM2 Map # : MAP01-02 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : Player starts only. Not tuned or anything for coop, but should be ok. Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No. Other game styles : N/A Difficulty Settings : Yes * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : off and on(im lazy :D ) over like 6 or 7 weeks Editor(s) used : Doom Builder(level editing), XWE(textures and merging), WinTex(music), Paint Shop Pro(graphics editng), Zennode(nodes and reject) Known Bugs : none in a software port, but in opengl it may be kinda strange becaue I used some special effects(less than the beta one actually). I tested it in Legacy, and it did have some bugs. The shadowcasting in the end of map01 is bugged, and the pools of blood in map02 are screwed, but that was all I noticed.
