=======================================================================        *ShizzMasteR's Doom Deathmatch #1: Help Manual/Readme*
=======================================================================
*Doom engine needed: Zdoom or Zdaemon. I highly prefer Zdaemon though.
You can get Zdaemon at www.Zdaemon.org.

*Primary use: Deathmatch, with 3 to 6 players being ideal.

Be sure that all "classic doom.exe settings" are all turned off.

Many of these must be as listed otherwise the maps will not function properly.

I also recommend you set the music volume to 75% or lower, otherwise you won't be able to hear any of the sounds.

                 *What is included in smdm1*
=======================================================================

*New Maps: Contains 12 levels that are finished.

*New Sounds: Yes. Almost all of the original sounds have been replaced.

*New Music: Yes, all the backround music for all levels have been replaced.

=======================================================================
                    *Gameplay information*
=======================================================================
*Game: Zdoom or Zdaemon only.

*Maps: MAP01-MAP12.
*Single Player: You can't because there are no exits.
*Cooperative 2-8 Player: You can't because there are no exits.
*Deathmatch 2-8 Player: YES. Some of the maps are way too small for 8 players, so I'd say a maximum of 6 players should be allowed.

*Other Game Styles: Team DM might be interesting, but otherwise don't bother.
*Difficulty Settings: Not implemented.

=======================================================================
                           *Construction*
=======================================================================

*Base: Completely new from scratch. I'm just sexy like that.
*Build Time: Long long ago, in a distant land.....I'd say the beta wad took around 2 months to build.
*Editors used: Doom Builder, XWE, a few random Sound Editing programs.
*May not run with: Anything besides Zdaemon or Zdoom.

                  *smdm1 Weapons Descriptions*
=======================================================================

*Weapon: Your fist
*Damage per hit: Very low
*Description: This is your last resort weapon for when you have nothing else. The likelyhood of you killing someone with this weapon is low so you may wanna find a gun and some ammo in this situation.

*Weapon: Chainsaw
*Damage per second: low, but it damages quickly.
*Description: Just like your fist, you never want to be stuck with just this weapon or you're screwed. The chances of you killing someone is higher with this weapon than the fist, but still pretty low.

*Weapon: Pistol
*Damage per bullet: Low
*Description: This little baby as a higher firing rate than the standard Doom 2 pistol, but is still too weak to be considered a real threat. Called "the pea shooter" by most, It'll take one hell of an aim and at least 8 bullets to put someone out with this gun.

*Weapon: Redneck's Choice Premium Shotgun
*Damage: Medium
*Description: This weapon is no different in smdm1 than it was in Doom 2 other than the firing sound. This weapon can be deadly up close, but is almost useless from a distance. Two direct hits from this weapon will kill the average doomer.

*Weapon: Ultimate Shotgun
*Damage: Very High
*Description: This is considered by many the best weapon in smdm1. Not only does is have a faster firing rate than the Super Shotgun, it also fires 4 shotgun shells at once, making it twice as lethal! Unfortunately because this weapon uses 4 shells at once you'll dispense a box of shells in only 5 bursts. You'd be smart to aim well and conserve your ammo.

*Weapom: Chaingun
*Damage per bullet: low
*Description: No different than the original Chaingun, this weapon is basicly a pistol with a higher firing rate and slightly more damaging bullets. A good weapon for close and medium range assualts, but is very innacurate at long range.

*Weapon: Rectum Rocket Launcher :)
*Damage per rectum rocket: high
*Description: Although no different than the original Rocket Launcher, the R.R. Launcher still fires deadly rockets at foes, but now features a big wet fart when fired! Unless you admit you are lame and have no sense of humor, you know that this is funny stuff right here!
Be careful not to shoot too close too your targets or shoot a wall, as you may also feel the wrath of the rectum rocket! Also be aware that the Rocket Launcher is the easiest weapon to dodge, so it's best to fire at opponents who are: 1)not paying attention 2)in small hallways 3)in a group, or 4)you could just bombard him with rockets and hope one hits.

*Weapon: SM Grade Plasma Rifle
*Damage per plasma ball: medium (about 20% health per hit)
*Desciption: This rapid-fire weapon shoots deadly plasma balls at your opponents, causing heavy damage. The worst thing about this weapon is knowing that in the hands of an experienced doomer it is almost impossible to dodge this weapon, especially in small, cramped areas.
The only downside to this weapon is that it runs on plasma (which is USUALLY rare) and if you stop firing you will be unable to fire it again for a moment (your character pulls back the weapon for some reason, as if only now experiencing blowback or needing to reload. Don't ask me why this happens).

*Weapon: The BFG 9000 (gee, wonder what BFG stands for?)
*Damage per shot: ungodly amounts
*Description: The biggest, baddest, most powerful (and the cheapest) weapon of all, the BFG 9000 can only be considered the best weapon to use but the worst weapon to go against. A huge ball of plasma is fired from the muzzle of the BFG which then travels and does the following: 1)Hits something. If it's another player, they will most likely get splattered all over. 2)If it hits an object, it will explode and damage all nearby players. The best part about this weapon is that you can completely miss and still damage your foes, making it a favorite amongst noobies for obvious reasons. The only real drawback of this weapon is the fact that it takes a moment before the weapon fires, so you might get splattered by an Ultimate Shotgun before you even use this thing, plus it takes 40 cell ammo to fire. Also, this weapon has a very unique firing sound, so players not paying attention will know when to get out of the way.
