Author Info : http://alcopop.org/me/ Description : This is just a PLAYPAL/COLORMAP replacement that changes DOOM into a *mostly* black and white game. The red range is left as-is. I originally put this together back in the late nineties and it languished on my hard drive afterwards. Sometime recently, I think it was the film "Sin City" that reminded me of this. I looked around and there is another B&W PWAD called "ww-nfoir.wad". However it doesn't leave the red range alone: That's made B&W too. I also threw in some new BSPLAT sprites taken from "gib.wad"; another PWAD sitting on my HD. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : None Sounds : No Music : No Graphics : Yes Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : No * Play Information * Game : DOOM / DOOM2 Map # : Any Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes Difficulty Settings : Not implemented * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : Not long Editor(s) used : inkworks; wintex; paint shop pro 5 or 7 Known Bugs : Graphics using the pink range can look odd * Copyright / Permissions * Do whatever you want with this file. * Where to get the file that this text file describes * The Usual: ftp://archives.3dgamers.com/pub/idgames/ and mirrors Web sites: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/; http://alcopop.org/games/doom/
