Advanced engine needed : vanilla compatible Primary purpose : Single player ======================================================================= Title : Bijou Doom Filename : Bijou.wad Date Finished : August 18th,2017 Author : Philnemba E-Mail : [redacted] Other Levels By Author : Pcorf's Community Project(maps 07,38 & 40) Some Evil Outpost(Ultimate Doom map) Hangar 22 Invasion(Skulltag invasion map) Revenge of the Reviving Angry Imps(Doom2 map) Happy Frickin Birthday 40oz(Ultimate Doom map) The Shores of Phil(Ultimate Doom e2m4-e2m9) Phil's Infested Compound(Plutonia map) + various Doom 2/Heretic speedmaps Description : Bijou Doom is a little mapping exercise/project where I basically recreated the first 3 episodes of Doom in tiny 384x384 playable spaces with a bonus Episode 4 thats in a 128x128 playable spaces. Additional Credits : Id for Doom, certain Doomworld forum members giving me excellent feedback when I first initialy started this last year, FuzzballFox for suggesting the name & Cycloid's Congestion 384 which was my main inspiration for this attempt speedmap set I try to create for fun :) ======================================================================= * Play Information * Iwad : Doom.wad Source port : vanilla compatible Map : E1M1 - E4M9 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch : No Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Music : No New Graphics : No Demos Replaced : All 4 of me playing UV on E1M5, E2M2, E3M2 & E4M6 * Construction * Base : Scratch Build Time : Most were made in January to Febuary 2016 while E3M5 to E3M8 was made in July to August of 2017. Episode 4 was roughly made around 6 to 7 hours in one day. Editors used : Doom Builder 2 & Slade 3 Known Bugs : Exit bars sometimes doesn't open when Cyberdemon is killed in E4M6 due to map's crusher squishing the body before death animation is finish. This sadly can't be fix because of the limitations of the 128x128 map format so its more of a trial & error to get the timing of killing the cyberdemon BEFORE the crusher cancels the death animation. Tested With : Chocolate Doom, Prboom+ & Zandronum * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels. You may distribute this WAD in any format (Internet, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact.
