Description : A partial conversion set in the mid-50's on a weapons research base deep in the heart of
	Greenland. You thought this would be a nice boring way to finish your career as a Marine. You thought wrong.

Important Notes : I strongly suggest you run the included BAT file instead of using a launcher or whatever.
	The included INI file has the options set to work optimally with the stuff CAH modifies.

	Also, this isn't intended to be played at resolutions lower than 640x480.

	If the snow is slowing the game down too much, there's a key to toggle it. Default
	is F12.

* Story *
	You are Gunnery Sergeant Henry Mills. You entered the United States Marine Corps in 1936, going through training at
the famous Parris Island Recruit Depot. You fought extensively in the Pacific Theater during World War II, distinguishing
yourself numerous times in the midst of heated combat against the Japanese forces. It is now 1954, and you've put 18 years
into your beloved Corps. Right now, you're looking at one last tour and then a nice retirement and a government pension.
	You wanted something nice and quiet for your last tour, so you requested a transfer to Station 46-A, a weapons
research facility in Greenland. The Corps assigned you to head up the detachment of Marines stationed there to provide
security for the weapons research at the facility. Although there has been talk of a Soviet move on the facility, you've
dismissed this as just a bunch of paranoid talk. As far as you're concerned, this is going to be an easy, quiet way to
finish out your career as a Marine...

* Additional Information / Hints *
	If the snow is slowing things down too much, you can toggle it with a key, default F12.

	YOU CAN INTERRUPT THE SHOTGUN'S LOADING BY PRESSING THE RELOAD BUTTON AGAIN! This is useful because the shotgun
takes several seconds to fully load, and you may find yourself under attack and need to react quickly. Simply press the
reload button again, and you will ready the shotgun with the current number of shells in it. This is the only weapon
which behaves in the this manner.

	You'll want to refer back to your mission objectives and any notes you collect during your mission in order to
figure out what you're supposed to be doing next. There is no in-game automap (the automap is blanked, so you won't see
anything even if you re-bind the automap key), but the levels are all logically arranged, without any mazes designed to
frustrate you. If you get really stuck, it might help to look at the notes you find. Some notes will contain hints about
what you might want to look for, and later in the game you MUST read several of the notes in order to progress in the
story.
	Even though many notes are not essential to completing your mission, they will give you a look at the deeper story
of the game. If you're curious about what's going on, you might want to take the time to read through the notes you find.

	Because most of the missions are set up as a hub, you can move freely between the levels. You may find that you
need to travel to different maps in order to stock up on ammo. You may also need to gather items from or perform tasks in
another map in order to continue on in another map. Your objectives display will always tell you what tasks you need to
perform in order to advance in your mission.

	The gameplay in CAH is somewhat different than regular Doom. You move a little slower, have half as much health,
will start bleeding at low health, carry less ammo, and have no armor. However, enemies also have dramatically lower
health. You also have to reload weapons, and can carry bandages to temporarily stop bleeding. These changes alter the
pace of the game to be a little different than that of Doom. It also means that enemies will go down a lot easier than
in Doom, but you really have to watch yourself because you can be killed much more easily.

* Construction *

Base : New levels from scratch.
Editor(s) used : Zeth, Doom Builder
Resource Editor(s) uses : XWE, various sound, music, and graphics programs.
Build time : A little less than a year from idea to finish.
Known Bugs : People have been having real problems with FPS here. I've tried to fix it, but it might still
be crap. Please drop me a line so I can fix things if it's still bad. Turning snow off may not work with ZDoom .94.
