                Welcome to the DOOM 2 Deathmatch Episode !

Description             : These are the best Deathmatch levels I and my
                          friends have made over the last 2 years. It covers
                          nearly all types of DM, fraggin Fragfests to sniper
                          levels, there will be at least ONE you'll find
                          amazing ! LOTS of fun guaranteed (thoroughly
                          playtested) ! Features are:
                          -23 selfmade deathmatch levels (8 DOOM 1 levels
                           revised for DOOM 2, 22 unreleased)
                          -30 musical scores, revised DOOM 1/2 music
                          -2 new sfx (Heretic), 1 sfx differently arranged
                          -3 new graphics (Sky textures and Intermission screen)

Level creators are:

Juergen Kroder (KFP)

 MAP08: The first Deathmatch level for DOOM 2 and one of the best so far.
 DOOM2  Find out what where all those teleports go, if you know which to
        choose you have a great advantage over your buddies.

 MAP11: Those blinking lights, together with the blue textures and the
 DOOM1  Spectres/Hell Barons seem to let the Players go crazy.

        -No, it's me, Mr. Hell Baron ! <G>

 MAP15: This level shows how Dark Forces might have been in Multiplayer. It
 DOOM2  takes place in the Starwars theme. All you need is this "force" thing
        DOOMers would call MEGASPHERE. But as soon as you have that damn
        thing, one of your buddies will be there to remove your health
        overdose. So what'll you do ? Ha, go back again... <g>

 MAP16: Telecross: Formerly released (3 days ago) in Action Games as
 DOOM1  TELECROS.WAD with a 4 player record. The D2DTHEPI.LMP also has
        been taken at the same session. The level is the BEST action packed
        fraggin' level we all know. Just watch the LMP and be amazed ! Makes
        a lot of fun even in 2 Player matches.

 MAP18: The former HOCH.WAD (engl: HIGH.WAD): Only a balustrade and some lifts
 DOOM2  though lots of fun ! Brown just came up with the lift as a rocket
        hit him in the back, killing him an letting him fall down, crying !

 MAP23: Just a normal level you might expect to see as a single player WAD
 DOOM1  but it has some gruesome parts ! Hehehe...


Steffen Itterheim (DOOM ADDICT)

 MAP05: The level's former name was Teleport Fraggin' and was for DOOM 1.
 DOOM1  The teleporters can be irritating, so always walk straight and step
        left when a gray texture is in front of you and you'll be in the
        second half.

 MAP06: The first Deathmatch level I made.
 DOOM1  Lots of secrets to discover, some of them aren't even marked. But
        I'm sure you'll find 'em.

 MAP09: Fraggin' Saw: Who will be the first sawing 100 frags ?
 DOOM2  Level was made just for fun but went out to a laughterfull slaughter-
        fest ! You won't believe how much fun it is if you haven't played it
        with three companions ! The competition is: the one who has 100 frags
        at first wins.

 MAP10: Catch the Saw: Whoever gets the saw first, he'll be the one doing the
 DOOM1  next 10 frags ! <g>

 MAP12: This level is for those who like puzzling during deathmatch. You also
 DOOM2  should have at least a DX2/66 for this one. BTW, watch the barrels !

 MAP13: I've made this level because I LOVE the Super Shotgun and wanted to
 DOOM2  have a Super Shotgun Battle Arena. There are also chainsaws for those
        ammo wasters !

 MAP14: This level is also great for Super Shotgun duels. There are no
 DOOM2  hi-tech weapons in this. Light also plays an important role in this
        level, if you have the goggles you're having a good time. If not,
        find the switch before the one with the goggles comes ! <g>

 MAP17: This is a revised version of MAP12, it has 95% of the puzzles removed.
 DOOM2  Therefore it plays better with slower computers and has a lot more
        action and even more barrels !

 MAP19: Fraggin' Super Shotgun: Who will be the first blasting 100 frags ?
 DOOM2  Level was made just for fun but went out to a laughterfull slaughter-
        fest ! You won't believe how much fun it is if you haven't played it
        with three companions ! The competition is: the one who has 100 frags
        at first wins.
        It's a revised MAP09 but with Super Shotguns.

 MAP20: Fraggin' Berserk: Who will be the first punching 100 frags ?
 DOOM2  Level was made just for fun but went out to a laughterfull slaughter-
        fest ! You won't believe how much fun it is if you haven't played it
        with three companions ! The competition is: the one who has 100 frags
        at first wins.
        It's a revised MAP09 but with Berserk Packs.

 MAP21: BIOHAZARD: Inspired by a Descent texture which looked like the
 DOOM2  Biohazard sign. The goggles will help you here, cause the flickering
        lights can be very irritating (or fire at will <g>). And find the
        "walkable" textures.

 MAP22: Another fragfest level. This time with lots of stairs to slide on
 DOOM1  dieing and cool lighting ! Oh, and not to mention this cute little
        Hell Baron, finishing off your buddies from behind while they're
        busy with themselves. <g>

 MAP31: Fraggin' BFG: Who will be the first dematerializing 100 frags ?
 DOOM2  Level was made just for fun but went out to a laughterfull slaughter-
        fest ! You won't believe how much fun it is if you haven't played it
        with three companions ! The competition is: the one who has 100 frags
        at first wins.
        It's a revised MAP09 but with BFG9000s.

 MAP32: Fraggin' Rockets: Who will be the first bazooka-ing 100 frags ?
 DOOM2  Level was made just for fun but went out to a laughterfull slaughter-
        fest ! You won't believe how much fun it is if you haven't played it
        with three companions ! The competition is: the one who has 100 frags
        at first wins.
        It's a revised MAP09 but with Rocket Launchers.



Sven Elvers (Ultimate DOOMer)

 MAP04: The marble walls in the middle can be lowered.
 DOOM1  There's also a secret door in the lower part of the level.
        Done with a little help from K.F.P./DOOM ADDICT, it was originaly
        a DOOM 1 level.

 MAP24: The long stairs are THE attraction of the level, we made an agreement
 DOOM2  to meet us there and kill ourselves, watching us sliding down the
        stairs. Just don't kill 'em, let 'em kill themselves and watch, be a
        spectator !
        BTW, find the secrets and don't try to get the Megasphere, you can't !

 MAP25: This level is best played with 4 players because it's big. There's
 DOOM2  a nice "other players excluded" puzzle. <g> And kill 'em on the
        stairs. ;)

 MAP08: The first Deathmatch level for DOOM 2 and one of the best so far.
