My guess is that the behaviour it was relying upon to work turned out to be a bug. This made the level impossible to beat in newer versions of ZDoom. This problem is now fixed. - Fixed a similar but less critical teleporter ambush in level 5. - Fixed the issue where an Arch-Vile was mysteriously absent in an area of level 7 on Ulra-Violence. - Fixed the issue where a Zombie Marine and Baron of Hell would spawn inside each other on level 8 on difficulties lower than Ultra- Violence. - Fixed a few cases of objects falling from the sky at the beginning of a level. - Fixed a bug that prevented the player from jumping in level 9. This is my first WAD ever, so you'll notice that the earlier maps aren't as good as the later ones. Also it is VERY important that you run this with ZDoom. You can get it at www.zdoom.org. Feedback is very welcome! THE STORY: You thought it was over... Wait, actually you didn't. You knew it would never be over. Every time you save mankind, it's just a matter of time before the demon bodies hit the floor once more. Hell's hordes are seemingly endless. No matter how many you kill, they just come back... stronger every time. Out the shuttle window you can see Saturn in the distance. It all started 15 months ago, when geologists noticed significant changes on Saturn's moon, Titan. The ice block had started melting. Probes discovered that even the rock itself on Titan had begun to change, and that the moon's internal core was bustling with activity. Never knowing when to take a hint, the UAC constructed a mineral storage facility and a laboratory on the moon, intent on figuring out what was going on, and how they could take advantage of it. 2 weeks ago all contact with Titan ceased. Big surprise. This is where you come in. NEW MONSTERS: There are some new monsters in Titan, who are also present in the ZDoom Community Monster Pack, although they are modified a bit. The zombie marine I made myself, although it also appears in the Monster Pack. You won't need the Monster Pack with Titan, since the monsters are already in the WAD. Chainsaw Zombie This zombie switched his pistol for a chainsaw. Depending on your distance to him, it's either your gain or your loss. Fortunately he's neither fast nor tough. Plus you can always hear him coming. Zombie Marine You were wondering what happened to all the other marines. Obviously, they got zombified and hid in some backwater hell pit until now. These bastards fire plasma in your general direction, so get rid of them fast! One clean shot with the super shotgun should take care of them. Lord of Heresy This guy resembles a Baron of Hell a lot. Except his face looks a lot meaner, and he has wings. Turns out while all the Hell Barons and Hell Knights were busy fighting you, the Heresy Lords were inventing new ways to abuse energy balls. The Heresy Lord will toss energy balls like there was no tomorrow, and even has a powerful nova attack. If you plan to live, keep your distance.
