Description : First episode with 10 levels for Doom2, my goal was to make some maps with varied themes and full of tricks and ambushes, minimalistic detail as usual in my maps trying to emulate the classic feel, but trying to offer more action than in my previous releases, several alphadoom textures were employed and a very few extra, as those from map06 and the sky. regardless using Doom2 stuff like items and monsters I think you'll find the maps more Doom1 resembling, except for map05 and map06 which use plenty of doom2 textures. This mapet also contains 10 new midis. May Not Run With : - Tested With : Chocolate doom (if something is broken using another port, blame that port, because this is a vanilla wad ;) ). * maps trivia * map01: short map full of zombieman, the name came from the idea of being slowly and repeatedly shot to dead since there is little armor on the first part. some testing traps for things to come onwards. many doomalpha textures giving a own theme to the map. map02: another short map, based on doortrak texture, it resembles to a abandonned spaceship, very dark. map03: strange map combining gstone and cement textures, kind of a doom's E3 level I guess, with gray floors. map04: very cannonical phobos map except for the tuned up violence, that startan room with hanging bodies is an inspiration from those crappy 1994 wads that combined caresly elements from all the episodes. some instant builds too. map05: space themed map, some vanilla tricks for the double sky and some instant builds too. map06: etruscan civilization map, with some frescos, burial sites and temples. some minor editing surgery to avoid crashes during saving at times, my first 3d bridge too, and it's curved :p map07: hell/castle map with some elabored mechanisms to make the player suffer and some satanic message too. this map had many alterations due to visplane limitations map08: acid theme, you'll have to do it quickly, plenty but not infinite rad suits. map09: alpha doom theme, combinig the serenity of its grayness and the violence of modern maps. this map gave the inspiration for a new and forthcoming project. map10: E3 theme map with some spice. grotesque texture combination a la pandemonium or house of pain, craziness and fair combat with annoying ending XD. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use the contents of this file as a base for modification or reuse.
