Û Description
20 maps on Skaro. Single player or Coop to
                          steal the Daleks' new Time Disruptor;

Deathmatch: Prevent your opponents from getting
the Time Disruptor -- the last map is a race
                          to the finish

This version does NOT require DeHackEd. If I
remembered to include the DeH, be warned it's
a VERY early beta... testing suggestions welcome,
but note the date... this should be superceeded
pretty soon, as if anyone out there still plays
                          with Doom II...

Caveat: whilst I prominently label this as 1.01.
not all the probs in 1.0 are fixed. 8-\

Û The Story so far... (Deathmatch version)

After being routed by the Terran forces,
the Movellans have split into factions over a
                          methodological dispute. While the differences
may be irreconcilable, the civil war must be
brought to a close as quickly as posssible,
as the very survival of the Movellans may be
                          at stake.

Identified is a point in time where, on Skaro
itself, the dominant faction of Daleks
are fast at work on a second Time Disruptor...

You have been sent back in time to infiltrate
Skaro and find the Disruptor and tag it for
transmission away from Skaro. While you will
not have assistance, you will be replaced if
                          eliminated.

Shortly after you have transmatted into a
cluster of short, intersecting hallways, you
discover that your rival Movellan factions have
                          also sent agents.

At all costs, they must not be allowed to get
                          the Time Disruptor!

[ BTW: Does anyone have an image of the original
Time Disruptor they could send me? ]

Shot-impacts for the new energy weapons provided for by Watcher

The Special Weapons Dalek is derived from a JPEG from the episode
"Rememberance of the Daleks," 1988

The revised Movellans are based on two images in a JPEG from the
episode "Destiny of the Daleks," 1978, and has recently been animated by
Andrew Brockhouse, who has a "Dr Who" Doom project of his own...

The original Movellans were based on a text description and fleeting
memories of an episode I had before I loaned my Doctor Who Collection
to Shawn Rasmussen, E Battery of the Patriot Battallion at Bitburg AB
in Germany in 1992, who still has all my tapes. If you know Shawn,
please let me know how to get in contact with him... I won't kill him.

Honest. ;)

° Thanks to:

id Software for developing the Doom engine (although this goes

for... it may take a little while, tho...

° Watcher wishes special thanks to:

Sean, author of QuBE, and a Quake map or two we might be putting out...

° Dr Strangelove wishes special thanks to:

Olivier Montanuy, for putting up with my constant bug reports for
earlier versions of WinTex (As of 4.1, the ones I found are fixed),
and to Ray Cusick, who designed Terry Nation's Daleks back in 1963.
