Author's Comment : Ace was gonna make a udm3 map and he sent me this untextured "thing" so I tweaked it a lot and ripped parts of the map off and made this. Author's Comment : I don't know how the hell Doomraider did it, but the layout of the map was just brilliant. Author's Comment : ? =========================================================================== Map # : MAP09 Author : AlexMax * Construction * Base : Scratch Build Time : Probably four days worth of work, done in two halves Editor(s) used : Doom Builder Known Bugs : Sometimes the Soulsphere trap doesn't work correctly, but it's nothing game-breaking. May Not Run With... : ? Author's Comment : I started with the BFG jump first, and built the rest of the level around it. I think parts of it look odd, but I'm really proud of how this plays. Mad props to Toke for his suggestions on how to improve the map. -AlexMax =========================================================================== Map # : MAP10 Author : AlexMax * Construction * Base : Scratch Build Time : Six days worth of work, done in three parts Editor(s) used : Doom Builder Known Bugs : You can trigger the plasma lift without going through the shotgun platform and lowering the block if you know the location of the switch. May Not Run With... : ? Author's Comment : The idea for this map originated as a Quake map a long time ago and kept popping into my head at random times over the last couple of years. That's why there's so much Z level action and so many 128 unit jumps. I think it still looks too grey, but the variation in floor colors and occational moss patch should keep you from gouging out your retinas with a screwdriver. This is the map I made the "Unidoom Sign" for. -AlexMax This map originally sucked, but then I fixed it some and made it less sucky.
