                        A P O C A L Y P S E   N O W

                                For Doom!!

WHY?
Apocalypse Now is a great movie, probably my favorite.  Perhaps
you have not seem it, and if that is the case you need to go
see it.  Anyway, I thought it would be cool if I added some
of the sounds to Doom(42, to be exact).  Hence, this WAD.   

OK, SO HOW DO I USE IT?
Playing Doom with these new sounds is incredibly easy.  The actual sounds
are in the WAD called APOCALYP.WAD.  Unzip APOCALYP.ZIP in your Doom 
directory.  To play, simply type "doom -file apocalyp.wad". I have even 
included a small batch file that will do this for you. Just type "apocalyp" 
and it will start up Doom with the WAD added.

CONSTRUCTION
I used the soundtrack CD from the movie, a WAV recorder, and DMAUD.  
Anyone can do this, and I would encourage you to experiment.

Francis Ford Coppala for a cool movie(and the actors), those people at id,
Bill Neisius for DMAUD, and Chris Hopkins for the pistol sound.

It is WOLFSND.ZIP.  Get it.  Hopefully in the near future I will

Of course, if your computer gets screwed up it ain't my fault(but that won't 
happen).  Doom and Apocalpyse Now are trademarks of their respective 
companies.  And by the way, there is some explicit language in the WAD.
