But unfortunately his hopes were dashed as his commanding officer tells him of a new hellish outbreak in a nearby UAC processing facility. Again he must pick up his pistol and travel through the warp gate to the facility and clear the newest outbreak before it can escape and spread across the country. ============================================================= Maplist; Episode 1 - Water treatment facility Map01 - Renaissance Music - Dark groove by Alexander Brandon Comments - A pretty simple openning, I did edit this by building the outdoor section where the player starts and finishes the map. This should be a breeze even on UV. Map02 - The Green Room Music - Track from Vile Flesh Map03 by Gwyn Williams Comments - A fairly old map of mine, green dominates this map to represent a somewhat degraded facility building. This one is fairly busy on the monster count but nothing too hard, I did remove the SSG which was here in a previous version but after playtesting I don't think this takes anything away from the map. Map03 - Life of Grime Music - Galaxy by Mark Klem Comments - Another old map on my hard drive, another slight increse in difficulty with a few of the tougher monsters now on show. SSG introduced here now. Map04 - Secluded Outpost Music - From "Fire Fight" (Used in AV map04) Comments - A homage to Map04 of AV, I hope this is faithful whilst offering a few new ideas here and there. Map05 - Cistern Control Music - Water world from Duke Nukem 3D A fairly short and looping maps which was made recently, I personally like it. Map06 - Dambusters Music - Excalibur by Lee Jackson (ROTT) Comments - An attempt to design a map around a dam, I don't think turned out too badly, though there might be a few visual glitches due to trying to have two separate levels where the ceiling height changes accordingly. Episode 2 - Secret Military Facility Map07 - Prison Break Music - Soldier of Chaos from TNT Comments - A remake of one of the earliest maps I made for the first Nova project, this map has a lot of arch viles as the gimmick as well as a definite increase in stronger enemies. Map08 - We Are The Mortars Music - Into the beasts belly from TNT Comments - Straight forward Metal themed map, a couple of nasty traps lurk in this base. Map09 - Painframe Music - Sadistic from TNT Comments - An older map of mine from a scrapped project, a few tweaks were made to make some traps more effective and robust. Map10 - Days of Mayhem Past Music - By Nick Baker and Vincent frog (Used in Crucified dreams and UAC Ultra) Comments - The largest map of the set, a remake of my first entry to the Mayhem2012 project, this is probably the easiest map in this mini-episode with monsters more spread out compared to the more compact efforts. Map11 - Skyfall Music - Castlevania 64 : Castle Center Comments - A very different theme to close out this set, very much inspired by Erik Alm's later E2 Maps in Scythe.
