Lego Base......

This wad does NOT require the user to have my lego textures wad
(legotex.wad). All the neccessary textures and flats are included
in this wad.

I've tried to make this level challenging from the outset. Most of the
playtesters initially felt the beginning was too difficult, but once
they ventured further into the map they all agreed that "it felt 'right'
in terms of balance".

I've toned things down slightly for the lower skill levels.
There will be a bit more health and ammo, maybe fewer monsters in
places, but it should still be a challenge of sorts.

This map was designed for vanilla doom2. However, there is an enhanced
version of this map (legob-sp.wad), containing some of Tom Cruickshank's
lego sprites, available from 'source port doom' section of my website at.....

	http://www.duellist.net

A section of this map was removed after early playtesting because it
was felt it was too different from the established style of the level.
This removed section has been reworked slightly and is available as a
small single player level entitled 'Deleted Scene 2' (deleted2.wad).
You'll find this in the Doom2 section of my website (see the URL above).

The music replacement is E2M1 from Doom.

The lego tree images and the menu skull were taken from Tom Cruickshank's
lego sprites wad and have been used with permission.
