The player's face in the status bar has been modified, and there are also some changes to the monsters, things and texts. New to this version (by Sparky): - updated the DeHackEd file to Patch Format 6 for use with Doom2 v1.9 - renamed the files to meet standard conventions and deleted the patch program (this version will not run with 'Plain Vanilla' Doom2). - fixed the nul sprites and sounds so that they worked correctly with the various Source Ports (the original version either crashed the Source Port, or the modified sprites were ignored and the weapons just appeared normally).Additional Credits to : - Sparky of KISS Software ([email protected]) for updating the original version to allow it to run with all the modern Source Ports. - Raven Software for the Heretic sounds.=======================================================================* Play Information *Game : Doom II (with a Source Port which can handle DeHackEd patches and wads containing sprite data - such as: Boom, PRboom, Legacy, MBF, SMMU, ZDoom, etc). Patching is not required. The following command line works with all the Source Ports except Legacy: -deh doomhak2 -file doomhak2 eg. boom -deh doomhak2 -file doomhak2 Legacy requires the file extensions: legacy -deh doomhak2.deh -file doomhak2.wad PRboom can't remember your preferred video mode, so specify it on the command line: prboom -width 800 -height 600 -deh doomhak2 -file doomhak2Episode and Level # : This is a graphics/sound patch, and contains no new maps.
