WARNING!: The flamethrower has been changed over to a zippo
and aerosol can like the original game. DO NOT TRY THIS AT
HOME! Doing this could blow off your hand.

Attention: To play the single player/non-Zdaemon version
of this wad, load BludSP1.WAD in the command line or loader
			  AFTER this one.

You do need to jump in this wad.

Advanced engine needed : ZDooM and it's derivatives: GZDooM, ZDaemon, Skulltag etc.
Purpose : Single player, Multiplayer, a little bit o' Deathmatch.

Title : ZBlooD

Description : After two HD failures (one was defective the other I bought had CRC errors) We finally a new version.

Based on the original "Blood" game by Monolith Productions.
It was an atmospheric, innovative, extremely creative game by Monolith.
It could have lived forever on modern systems if it's source code
			  had not been lost.

The original game is now classified as abandonware and you can get it
at the standard abandonware sites. Do a search for "Blood Abandonware"
and you should find a free, full copy of the original game.

If you have Windows XP, you'll have some trouble with the original
Blood. However you can get it running -with sound and high resolution- if
you visit this site and do what it says.
			  http://buildxp.deathmask.net/

One more thing - If sound is garbled coming out of your system after
doing all that, try using 22050khz for the sound in Blood's setup.exe, like me.

Try to spread word about Blood and tout it's greatnessessssess so
somehow, somewhere, someone will create a worthy sequel to the original
			  masterpiece.

Personally I (Doorhenge) believe the sequel -Blood 2: the Chosen- was not
very good at all. Run and gun through office complexes? - sheesh!
Not to mention the buggy engine.

Also try out the Quake 1 remake of Blood.
			  http://www.transfusion-game.com/
Single player was never done unfortunately, but it is worth a look.

The goal for this wad, was for me (Doorhenge) to be able to play Blood online.
I'm loyal to Zdaemon despite Skulltag.
If there is any modification suggested to this wad that screws
with that goal, then I'm not gonna implement it.

Additional Credits to : Id Software, Monolith Productions for graphic and sound resources.
We ripped and converted everything from the
original .art files. It is free for anyone to use. It was a
little bit of work converting the enemies, so if you want to give
us credit for that, you can. We would never demand credit for
simply converting artwork that we didn't create to a different
 			  palette.

If you have the Blood CD you can listen to the CD tracks
while playing the game. It should be noted if you have other
CDs in the CD drive it'll play those too.

Maxim Genis "DooMJedi" for the HUD face sprites.

			  Chaoscorps for Thompson sprites.

DeusExMachina for suggesting the transfer heights trick.

Ajapted and Graf_Zahl for help with WhackEd2.

Dynamite dehacked modified from work by Don Tello, and even
 			  further modified by Doorhenge.
(I strongly suggest NOT messing with the dynamite before
experimenting with it!) Also try turning off autoaim.

Story: After your victory over the dark god Tchernobog, you finally return
to your grave for a little R&D - rest and decomposition. It has
been nearly a year since your encounter at the Hall of Epiphany,
but you seem troubled. Somehow it was too easy to dispose of the
dark lord. It's almost as though he wanted you to beat him.

			  Suddenly you stir.

In your mind you can hear your once master laughing,
his voice taunting you. You can then take it no longer and
decide to awaken once again and confront the Cabal.
