Title : green.wad Filename : green.zip Date : 02/27/97 Authors : A.McIntyre (http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/amcintyre/) N.Weer (http://www.ice.net/~nsweer/) Email : [email protected], [email protected] Thanks : The guys at id, of course... Mads Bondo Dydensborg ([email protected]) Mipdip15 Walla ([email protected]) for the CZTEX1.WAD textures. Type of Mod ----------- Quake C : no, but see below Sound : no, but see below MDL : no Graphic : YES, well it is a new texture arrangement Format of QuakeC ---------------- unified diff : n/a context diff : n/a .qc files : n/a progs.dat : n/a Description of the Modification ------------------------------- We were just playing around, and decided to see how much green we could come up with from existing textures. We did input a few "new" textures: we simply modified existing images/textures to reflect a more "environmental" (green) appearance. The green sky, and changing one qtex texture to water being prime examples. How to Install the Modification ------------------------------- Just put the wad file in the same directory that your editor uses to create and compile levels, and use green like you would any other wad file. Author Information ------------------ Just a couple of guys playing around with Quake. Copyright and Distribution Permissions -------------------------------------- Just give us some credit if you redistribute or make use of this wad, and keep this text file with it, that's all we ask. Most of these textures are the property of id Software. Oh, if you make a level using this, email at least one of us so we know where/how to get a copy, so to take a look. Availability ------------ either of our pages email request to either of us ftp.cdrom.com
