This is what was going to be my Quake1/2 TC for Doom1/2 which should've been
completed by Summer 2000. I have salvaged and tested it on the following source ports:
Vanilla Doom/Doom2: -Not- reccomended, sprites would have to be appended to the file plus you'd have to apply the DEH to the doomhack.exe to work.
Zdoom: Should work fine
ZDoomGL: Parts of the status bar don't show, and make sure you turn off MD2 support to
see the sprites.
Doom Legacy 1.30 (Software mode): Perfect and reccomended, tho other ports would work fine.
Doom Legacy 1.30 (OpenGL/MiniGL): the source port bombed out with segment violation when I tried this. May or may not happen with your machine. I use a Voodoo3 2000 AGP 3d card for the testing
Boom/PRBoom: Works fine
Note there is another QDoom project by Fanatic, none of the resources in this WAD are _NOT_ pulled from his WAD!! The sprites were taken via screenshots in a MD2 viewer and worked on that from that point. The Status bar, the Knight sprites and the weapon sprites were from a friend that did the same i believe.
Credits go to Id software for Doom, Doom2, Quake, Quake2 and Quake3 Arena. Dudes of dehacked, wintex and the source ports I used to test my mini-mod. All bits of music credited towards their creators
The original unfinished TC is at http://www.doomhq.com/quakedoom
Also, the old TC zip has an older version of Legacy included, don't use it, use the latest version <1.30>
